LOS ANGELES — As the Golden Globes were set to emerge from a cloud of controversy, another cloud was hanging over Tuesday’s awards show as relentless storms continued to ravage much of California.
But rain or shine, the show went on: A tent was put over the red carpet to keep event-goers dry.
The unofficial kickoff to awards season attracted some of the biggest names in film and television (despite last year’s boycott). Among the award nominees were red carpet mavens Viola Davis, Selena Gomez, Margot Robbie, Michelle Yeoh, Jessica Chastain, Anya Taylor-Joy, and Kaley Cuoco.
Andrew Garfield, Austin Butler and Jeremy Pope were among the acting nominees who always take the red carpet by storm.
