Rob Brydon and Melanie Walters have been spotted on the streets of Barry as they filmed the Gavin and Stacey Christmas special.
Rob , who plays Uncle Bryn, and Melanie, who plays Gwen, were seen filming on Trinity Street on Friday afternoon (July 12).
Ruth Jones, who plays Nessa, was also seem nearby as was Joanna Page who plays Stacey, according to our sister paper WalesOnline.
Light up Santa and other Christmas decorations were put up on the outside wall of a terraced house during the filming.
The series' co-creator James Corden has said the decision to return to Barry came after 10 years of talking about what the likes of Ness, Bryn and Gwen would be up to now.
In a statement, he and Ruth Jones said: "Over the last 10 years we’ve talked a lot about Gavin & Stacey - where they might be today and what their lives might look like.
"And so in secret we took the plunge and wrote this one hour special. We’ve loved revisiting Barry and Essex again and bringing the characters back together has been a joy.
"We’re so excited to get the chance to work with our fabulous cast and crew once more and to give fans of the show a festive treat this Christmas. Thank you BBC for helping to make this happen.”
It is understood that the filming for interior scenes will take place on Friday afternoon and evening.
The production company told local residents: "It will be when many residents will be sleeping. There will be a cherry picker with a high platform carrying a large lamp on it to light a section of Trinity Street.
"There will of course be a certain amount of noise, but rest assured, we will do whatever we can to ensure that disturbance is kept to a minimum."
