Cornish Police have urged celebrities like Gordon Ramsay not to flee to their second homes again.
The UK has plunged into its third national lockdown amid the coronavirus pandemic.
Cornwall has always attracted a galaxy of stars because of its natural beauty.
Many stars - including Gordon, Twiggy and Dame Judi Dench - have second homes in the gorgeous setting.
But police appealed to celebrities and high profile social media influencers to set a "fantastic" example to others.
Police and Crime Commissioner Alison Hernandez urged stars to not making "unnecessary trips" to Cornwall.
She said: “This new strain of Covid-19 is spreading much faster and we must do everything we can to protect our residents and the NHS.
“I would particularly like to appeal to celebrities and high profile social media stars.
"By not conducting unnecessary trips to the region you will be setting a fantastic example to the wider public and, in doing so, encouraging more people to stick to the rules."
Cornwall has now registered 320 Covid cases per 100,000.
Taking action, the Police and Crime Commissioner begged celebrities to come back later.
She added: “I would urge you to lead by example and together we will come through this. There will, of course, come a time when Devon and Cornwall can welcome back visitors with open arms, and while that time isn't now, I would urge you all to #ComeBackLater.”
“We know Devon, Cornwall and the Isles of Scilly are absolutely beautiful and it's totally understandable that people would want to spend time here - our thriving tourism industry is evidence of that.
“However, at a time when stopping the spread of this terrible virus is more important than ever, I must urge people not to make unnecessary journeys to the region.”
Gordon come under fire from Cornwall residents when he spent time with his family at his £4million second home in the area.
The TV chef sparked outrage with his Instagram posts during the first lockdown.
Gordon took no notice and continued to update his 10.7million followers on what he was getting up to with his family in Cornwall.
