Sir Keir Starmer has voiced his concerns on the “cumulative effect” of pro-Palestine marches on Jewish people in the UK.
Appearing on BBC Radio 4's Today programme on Saturday, the prime minister said he would always defend the right to protest but wants demonstrators to “reflect on what the Jewish community is going through and the overall impact that this is having”.
He also said there needed to be tougher action taken on those who chant "globalise the intifada" during the marches.
It comes after the stabbing of two Jewish men in Golders Green.
