Electric motorcycles have come under fire from every direction. I've even tested models that I had enormous fun riding, but saw very little in the way of practicality for the common rider. Prices are usually either too high or range too low, or even worse, prices are too high and the range is too low.
But one company has quietly risen above the stacked odds to achieve record profitability for an all-electric motorcycle manufacturer.

Stark Future announced that it hit a milestone by recording its highest-ever monthly revenue of €18.3 million ($20.48 million), and delivered a positive earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation, and amortization (EBITDA) of €2.8 million ($3.13 million). This puts Stark Future as the fastest-growing company in Spain and, more importantly, shows that the electric motorcycle market is viable if we have the right products at the right price.
"This achievement comes barely two years after Stark Future's first commercial sales, remarkably faster than incumbent EV leaders, and more resembling the growth rates of some of the world's most successful technology firms in history," said Anton Wass, CEO of Stark Future. "We have been steadily approaching this profitability event, driven by the popularity of the off-road VARG MX, but the phenomenal reception of the newly available Stark VARG EX, the company's groundbreaking street-legal Enduro model, has brought this landmark occasion."
To put Stark Future's success into perspective, Tesla took nearly 17 years to achieve sustained profitability, and Chinese four-wheeled EV manufacturer NIO (not to be confused with Chinese two-wheeled EV manufacturer NIU), which has a similar product-driven revenue to Stark Future, reached positive EBITDA after eight years.
In short, Stark Future is charging forward at an unprecedented rate for an EV manufacturer and won't rest on its laurels.

The manufacturer plans to repeat the success that it has already found in the motocross and enduro segments, but in larger motorcycle categories. "We will continue to innovate at the component level and in the greater model range so electric motorcycles in all categories can outperform traditional machines in every way," added Paul Soucy, Stark Future CTO.
The manufacturer already has a global network of more than 400 retail locations in more than 50 countries, so it's anyone's guess how much bigger this company will be by this time next year.
