Starbucks is closing thousands of its coffee shops across the United States on Tuesday for staff training on racial bias.
The chain was criticised last month when two black men were arrested while waiting for a friend at one of its stores in Philadelphia.
The incident reflects centuries of racial stereotyping that many Americans are now trying to correct.
