Starbucks sees the return of Pumpkin Spice Latte this week with new food menu items

Even though we’ve barely seen the sun this year, and we’re still waiting for that elusive heatwave to make an appearance, one thing we can get excited about is the return of the Pumpkin Spice Latte at Starbucks.

From the 2nd September and priced from £3.55, the original Pumpkin Spice Latte we all know and love is back on the menu.

With every silky-smooth sip, you’ll enjoy flavours of Starbucks Espresso Roast, pumpkin pie flavoured sauce and steamed milk, topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices – cinnamon, nutmeg and cloves. Delicious.

To find your nearest Starbucks, we’ve popped the store locator here for ease. You’ll also find the latest opening and closing time information listed there as well.

Back in 2003, Starbucks iconic Pumpkin Spice Latte was born. The first of its kind, the PSL is the product of numerous Goldilocks-style tests - including pumpkin pies, fresh pumpkins, tinned pumpkin and all manner of spices - the team managed to find a unique and original final formulation that was just right. Since then, the beloved icon has grown in popularity year on year, becoming one of the most popular Starbucks seasonal beverages around the world.

Over the years, Starbucks has evolved the drink to align with shifting consumer trends, with diverse variations to customise the fan-favourite. From the introduction of the vegan Pumpkin Spice Latte sauce in 2018 to the addition of Vegan Whipped Topping in 2020, the transformations continue.

This year is the first time pumpkin heads can customise the PSL with Starbucks Original Nut Blend for that ultimate seasonal, smooth sip. Pairing two icons, why not try the PSL Frappuccino Blended Beverage? This cold option is a blend of the original PSL and our much-loved Frappuccino Blended Beverage. Whatever your choice, the innovative beverage team at Starbucks have got you covered.

If that wasn’t enough, Starbucks are also treating you to some new food menu items too this autumn.

Starting with the No’Meatball Marinara Wrap, and prices start from £4.20. It’s a plant-based meatballs with a tangy marinara sauce, coconut oil alternative to smoked cheese and baby kale wrapped in a tortilla wrap.

Or how about the new Brie, Butternut & Chutney Focaccia? Priced from £4.59, it’s creamy brie with roasted butternut, baby kale and a pear & fig chutney on a rosemary focaccia bread.

Another new item gracing the menu is Mac & Cheese with Kale & Peas (from £4.49). Get ready to sink your teeth into soft, macaroni in a three-cheese sauce with petit pois and kale topped with Cheddar cheese.

For those with a sweet tooth, why not pair your Pumpkin Spice Latte with the Pumpkin Spice Cookie? Priced from £1.59, it’s a pumpkin spiced vegan cookie packed with flavour and topped with pumpkin seeds and cranberries.

Brand new items dropping this season are the S’mores Brownie Blondie and Almond Croissant.

The S’mores Brownie Blondie is a blondie bar packed with marshmallows and almonds, covered in a slice of chocolate brownie, topped with a marshmallow, chocolate drizzle and speculoos crumb.

As for the Almond Croissant, it’s a butter croissant filled with an almond filling and topped with toasted flaked almonds and a dusting of powdered sugar.
