It’s the first week of November, which means it’s time for the holiday season to officially roll in — including nonstop Christmas music on the radio and holiday cups at Starbucks.
Speaking of the latter, the new holiday cups arrive in stores Thursday, and the company has revealed this holiday season’s festive designs in shades of red, green and white.
The four new cups are covered in either polka dots, candy stripes, dancing letters that spell “Merry Christmas,” or a tiny print that reads “Merry coffee.”
Coinciding with the launch of the holiday cups, Starbucks is giving away a free limited-edition reusable red cup to customers who order a holiday drink on Thursday. And if you get one of these reusable cups, any grande holiday drink you order at Starbucks will be 50 cents off through January 6, as long as you bring it with you.

Though many Starbucks lovers look forward to the holiday cups each year, the seasonal lineup is often a source controversy among critics who complain that the cups are either too Christmas-y, or not Christmas-y enough.
