The drive-thru at Starbucks in Hamilton will be open 24 hours from today.
From June 10, the superstore will be open around the clock at the Palace Grounds Retail Park.
The coffee giants announced the news on their Facebook page, saying: “Your favourite cup of coffee will be available 24 hours a day. We have built a great team in these past weeks to greet you at any time of the day !”
And the store has promised some special treats for the first 20 customers who arrive after midnight.
The store and drive thru will be open 24 hours a day except on a Friday and Saturday between midnight and 4 am when the cafe will be closed and only drive thru will be serving.
Store manager Jolene Hamilton said the team were looking forward to welcoming customers all around the clock. She said: “ We are excited to be opening 24 hours for our customers, we have been working hard in preparation for it and it’s exciting for all our partners!”
And many customers ‘espresso-ed’ their feelings about this online. One said: “We’ll never leave!”
While another posted: “Not that we’re ever awake after 9pm but you never know, great for airport trips I suppose.”
Another added: “Yes, yes, yes and more yes!”
