The new year brings a new eating challenge in the form of Veganuary - where participants try eating a vegan diet for the whole of the month.
The good news is that the likes of Costa Coffee, Starbucks and Caffe Nero are making that a little easier this year by launching ranges of plant-based treats for consumers to enjoy.
The food-to-go chains join a strong of brands launching vegan ranges this month to mark the annual January challenge.
Burger King this week launched vegan chicken nuggets while Spar has launched a new own-brand collection of vegan wines – starting at £5.49 or £8.99 for its award-winning vegan Prosecco Valdobbiadene.
Veganuary was launched in the UK in 2014 by the Veganuary charity, and aims to promote a vegan lifestyle for the first month of the year by encouraging people to take part in a plant-based diet.
Vegans believe that all creatures have the right to life and freedom and do not buy or consume animal products where possible.
That includes leather and wool - but Veganuary is all about the food and drink.
Last year almost 600,000 people across the world signed up to take part in Veganuary, across 209 countries.

The charity's website has a free cookbook where Veganuary users can get suggested plant-based recipes.
But if you feel like vegan food on the go, the big coffee and cafe chains have launched a range of plant-based food too.
Caffe Nero
The coffee shop chain has unveiled sweet and savoury options for people eating vegan this year.
The main launch is a vegan 'chicken arrabbiata panini and 'sausage' ciabatta, which will be available across all 600 of its sites.
The panini uses fake chicken pieces covered with a spinach and spicy tomato sauce.
The ciabatta uses vegan sausage so convincing that 97 percent of consumers surveyed thought it contained real meat.
Costa Coffee
Costa Coffee is adding new vegan options to its menu, with the new dishes available from this week.
The new savoury offerings include Vegan Macaroni Cheeze, which the coffee giant describes as featuring a ‘vegan cheeze sauce and fresh spinach, all topped with a delicate parsley crumb’.
Also on offer is the Vegan BBQ Chick’n Panini, returning after a popular stint last year, featuring vegan chick’n, BBQ sauce, vegan cheeze, roasted peppers and fresh spinach in a sourdough panini.
Those with a sweet tooth can try Costa's new chocolate & pecan slice.
This has a tiffin base topped with dark chocolate and biscuit chunks, as well as caramel and pecan nuts.
Coffee fans have not been left out either.
They can choose between new vegan caramel, coconut or hazelnut and almond oat lattes, all made from oat milk.
Starbucks
Starbucks has several new products for people trying out Veganuary this year - as well as vegans who follow the way of life full time.
Pride of place is a new vegan 'tuna' sandwich - called 'Tu'NAH'.
The sandwich features red onion, cucumber, rocket and vegan mayonnaise.
Starbucks is also adding three plant-based items - a pecan & caramel brownie, a carrot cake and a chocolate & caramel muffin.
The coffee chain also stopped charging customers extra for plant-based milk on January 5.
Starbucks offers vegan milks such as oat, almond, coconut, soy and its own blended nut milk.
Pret A Manger
Pret launched products for Veganuary last year, including a vegan version of its popular meatball wrap.
The chain also launched a hoisin mushroom wrap and a sunshine ‘n spice wrap made with curried chickpeas and sweet mango chutney.
All three are still on Pret menus.
But so far this year the retailer has not unveiled any special vegan options for 2022.
