Starbucks adds nine new items to their menu including Pumpkin Spice Latte and vegan options

The past couple of years have been pretty insane to say the least.

Last year it felt as if each day went by at a snail's pace whereas 2021 has been the complete opposite - blink and Christmas will be over.

But thankfully as each season comes, restaurants, coffee chains and cafes each have their own specials to take our mind off of the more serious stuff in life - and today there's some pumpkin spice on the menu at Starbucks.

From today (September 2) the original Pumpkin Spice Latte we all know and love is back on the menu starting at £3.55.

The original PSL is back! (Starbucks)

The fall flavours of pumpkin, cinnamon, nutmeg and clove topped with whipped cream and pumpkin pie spices.

The coffee chain will also serve Pumpkin Spice Frappuccino and you can of course make this vegan by asking for a milk alternative and vegan whipped cream!

As well as their much-loved beverages, they have also have added more items to their new menu including a Pumpkin Spice Cookie which is plant-based and a win for the vegans as well as a Pumpkin Loaf Cake.

For those wondering, their vegan cookie is a pumpkin spiced cookie with all the autumnal flavours which is then topped with pumpkin seeds and cranberries.

Not a fan of the PSL or anything pumpkin?

Why not try their Iced Salted Maple and Caramel Latte? This delicious drink comes with milk and Blonde Espresso combined with a Salted Maple sauce served over ice and topped with a delicious caramel crunch topping.

They've also added other items to their menu including a No’Meatball Marinara Wrap which is a plant-based meatballs with a tangy marinara sauce, coconut oil alternative to smoked cheese and baby kale wrapped in a tortilla wrap.

As well as a Brie, Butternut & Chutney Focaccia and Mac & Cheese with Kale & Peas.

For those with a sweet tooth, care to treat yourself to their brand new S’mores Brownie Blondie, Sea Salted Caramel and Pecan Swirl or Almond Croissant?

The Blondie is packed with marshmallows and almonds, covered in a slice of chocolate brownie and topped with a marshmallow, chocolate drizzle and speculoos crumb.

The swirl is a sweet dough with cinnamon filling, sultanas and topped with cream cheese icing.

The Almond Croissant is pretty self-explanatory and is topped with a dusting of powdered sugar.
