'Starboy starts!' - Excited Arsenal fans love what Mikel Arteta has done against Wolves

Mikel Arteta's team selection for this evening's Premier League fixture against Wolves has prompted a big reaction from Arsenal fans.

The Gunners go into the game on the back of a goalless draw at home to Manchester United last weekend.

However, Arsenal's away form in the league has been impressive ever since the 2-1 loss at Everton before Christmas as they'll be chasing a fourth successive win on the road in the competition.

If the north London outfit are able to leave Molineux Stadium with all three points - just like they did in the corresponding fixture last season - then they will leapfrog bitter rivals Tottenham in the table, albeit for a couple of days potentially.

And in an attempt to just that and to avenge the 2-1 loss to Wolves at the Emirates Stadium earlier in the season, Arteta has resisted temptation to make several changes to the side which started against Man United.

There is one alteration to be exact.

The sole change sees Bukayo Saka return to the starting lineup in place of Gabriel Martinelli who drops to the bench where he's joined by the returning captain Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang as well as Dani Ceballos.

As expected, Bernd Leno, Hector Bellerin, and Alexandre Lacazette are among those to keep their places, but Kieran Tierney misses out once again.

Arsenal XI: Leno; Bellerin, Holding, David Luiz, Cedric; Partey, Xhaka; Pepe, Smith Rowe, Saka; Lacazette

Most of the reaction from Arsenal supporters on social media has centered around the inclusion of Saka in the team as well as the strength of the bench.

Take a look at some of the best responses on Twitter...

@afctomm_said: "nice lineup."
