Star Wars with a live orchestra is coming to Liverpool M&S Bank Arena

Star Wars fans can rejoice as the franchise’s second film, The Empire Strikes Back, is heading to Liverpool live in concert.

Following the successful arena tour of Star Wars: A New Hope last year, the second film will be hitting venues across the UK with a live orchestra later this year.

Fans will be able to experience the scope and grandeur of the beloved Star Wars film as the live symphonic concert experience returns to Liverpool's M&S Bank Arena .

Woodside Drive In Cinema is returning to Wirral - with huge Bohemian Rhapsody screening  

The live orchestra will play legendary composer John Williams’ stunning score as the film plays.

Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back sees Imperial Forces launch an all-out attack on the Rebel Alliance, Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia (Carrie Fisher) flee to Cloud City where they are captured by Darth Vader.

Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) journeys to the mysterious planet of Dagobah, where the wise Jedi Master Yoda teaches the young hero the ways of the Force before he must go head to head with Darth Vader.

Peter Kavanagh's is named Pub of the Year 2019 by Liverpool CAMRA  

The tour heads to Liverpool on Wednesday, October 2, and is also set to visit Manchester, Leeds, Glasgow and Birmingham.

Tickets start from £29.50.

Pre-sale tickets are available from April 3, while general sale launches April 5 on Ticketmaster .
