The Force is strongest in the local authority of Leeds, where 2,812 Jedi live, closely followed by Brighton and Hove with 2,636 and Bristol with 2,310.
The authorities where the Dark Side is strongest are the Isles of Scilly, where 14 Jedi live, and the City of London, which has 34.
Mapping company Esri UK created a map showing where in England and Wales people stated their religion as Jedi Knight in the 2011 census.
The map shows there is a greater chance of meeting a Jedi in the south of England - the darker the green shading is, the higher percentage of Jedi Knights living in the area.
