Star Wars Celebration is just around the corner.
The long-awaited Star Wars Celebration is coming on April 11-April 15 in Chicago, Illinois in the US.
At this huge fan event, Disney will hold an hour-long panel for Star Wars: Episode 9 on April 12, 2019 at 11am Chicago time, this being 4pm GMT.
It is expected that a trailer or preview for the film will be shown during the panel.
The panel description gives us a hint of what to expect.
"With the culmination of the Star Wars Saga arriving before the end of the year, the Star Wars: Episode IX panel is one you will definitely not want to miss!
"With Lucasfilm President Kathleen Kennedy and Star Wars: Episode IX director JJ Abrams appearing on stage, you can count on plenty of surprises and special guests to keep your imagination buzzing for the rest of Celebration! Live on the Celebration Stage; streamed to the Galaxy and Twin Suns Stages."
We can probably expect major stars to appear such as Daisy Ridley, John Boyega, Adam Driver and more.
A likely candidate to appear is Lando Calrissian actor Billy Dee Williams, who is already confirmed to appear at the Celebration and also reprise his classic Original Trilogy character in the film.
Fans are eager to see the first footage of the final instalment of the Skywalker saga and are expecting a few shocks as the sequel trilogy meets its climax.
The celebration will also look at what other treats are in store, with upcoming video games, merchandise and television series including The Mandalorian which will arrive on upcoming streaming service Disney+.
Star Wars: Episode IX is released in UK cinemas on December 19, 2019.
