With the new Star Wars film coming out next month, there's no better time to immersible yourself in the galaxy, far far away.
C-3PO features heavily in the latest trailer for The Rise of the Skywalker, so it's lucky that the actor who lays him in Edinburgh to sign copies of his new book on Friday.
Anthony Daniels can claim the honour of being the only actor to have appeared in every major Star Wars film.
He will be at the Waterstones at the west end of Princes Street at 5pm to discuss I am C-3PO - The Inside Story.
Daniels has been enjoying his time in the city and stopped in at the Star Wars themed pop-up bar currently open on East Market Street.
Waterstones say: "Anthony Daniels is the only actor to have worked on every Star Wars film, and is best known for playing the unforgettable droid C-3PO.
"Over the course of forty years, those films have indelibly made their way into our shared cultural imagination and changed forever the way films are made. For the first time, Anthony Daniels tells his own story and recounts his memories from inside the metal costume.
"We are delighted to welcome him to Waterstones to sign copies."
