Star Trek's William Shatner pays visit to a hair transplant clinic in LA

Star Trek legend William Shatner appeared to emerge from a hair loss centre over the weekend.

The 90-year-old actor, who became an icon after playing the role of Captain James T. Kirk in the sci-fi series, sparked speculation he is undergoing a hair transplant after being spotted at the clinic in LA.

He left the Denise Johnson Originals building wearing a facemask and appeared to be in good spirits.

The award-winning actor is said to have worn a toupee for most of his high-flying career.

It's rumoured he splashed out £18,000 on one hair piece in the past.

William has been through a lot over the past year, as he got divorced from his ex-wife Elizabeth Martin.

They had been married for 18 years before deciding it was time to part ways.

He filed for divorce from Elizabeth in December 2019 and it was just four days after her brother tragically died.

However, the former couple were seen together last week.

According to the Daily Mail, William reunited with Elizabeth to celebrate his 90th birthday.

They were celebrating his birthday in sun-soaked California.

The actor looked relaxed and happy as he drove in his car alongside a female passenger, who appeared to be Elizabeth.

And in the snaps of William leaving the hair transplant clinic, he seemed to be wearing his wedding ring.

But the pair are yet to comment on their relationship status, or if they are back together.

The Mirror has contacted William's representative for comment.
