Star touch for the Rovers Return as celebrities line up to drink at the bar

Corrie pub The Rovers Return used to be known for barmaid Betty’s hotpot.

But today, the boozer’s celebrity fans are the ones who are making it sizzle.

This week, Princess Anne became the latest famous face to visit the iconic pub, a set in the world’s longest-running TV soap. She followed in the footsteps of her late mother, Queen Elizabeth II, and Camilla, the Queen Consort.

Pop stars Cheryl and Ed Sheeran have previously put a shift in at the boozer.

And the Rovers has also hosted Sir Trevor McDonald, Sir Tom Jones, Greg Rusedski, Dermot O’Leary and Nicole Scherzinger – proving the ITV watering hole is the best bar none.
