Star Hobson's mum is 'marked woman' in jail with inmates 'likely to attack her'

Star Hobson's evil mum is reportedly a 'marked woman' in jail and will likely soon be attacked by other inmates.

Frankie Smith, 20, is now serving time alongside 'lifers' at HMP New Hall, in West Yorkshire, after being jailed for eight years.

She was convicted of causing or allowing her baby daughter Star's death, while her partner Savannah Brockhill, 28, was convicted of murder.

Star, from Keighley, West Yorkshire, was just 16-months-old when she was killed in September last year.

Her mum, Smith, is now being housed in a single cell in HMP New Hall - where Rose West is also serving a life sentence.

A source told The Sun Online: "She’s a marked woman and it won’t be long before someone gets to her.

"She’s on the lifers’ wing so there are plenty of women with very little to lose who will attack her for the price of a few bars of chocolate or some toiletries."

Smith will reportedly eat her meals alongside other prisoners on the Willow House wing and also have communal showers.

It comes after the evil mum whinged after hearing that her jail sentence could be increased.

The mum, who stood by as her girlfriend kicked, punched and throttled her daughter, was cleared of murder at Bradford Crown Court but convicted of causing or allowing death.

Smith's granddad David Fawcett, 61 – one of two relatives still in touch with Smith – told the Sunday People : “She phoned me on Thursday and she’s a little upset because they’re reviewing the sentence. People don’t think eight years is long enough.

“She’s upset about it, to be honest. She’s lost a daughter and has to live with that for the rest of her life, that’s all she talks about.”

Smith’s girlfriend, security guard Brockhill was sentenced on Wednesday to a minimum of 25 years for murdering Star, who suffered months of torture, cruelty and neglect.

The Attorney General has been asked to review the sentences of the two women under the “unduly lenient sentence” scheme.

During their trial, it emerged social services received at least five referrals from numerous friends and family members worried Star's life was in danger but social workers allowed the toddler to stay with her “terrible” mum.
