Emergency services are dealing with an ongoing incident near Stanley, County Durham.
Police descended on the village of Annfield Plain on Saturday night.
Photos on social media show a heavy police presence in the area of Stanhope Gardens, with eye-witnesses claiming armed police are in attendance as well as the air ambulance.
We have contacted Durham Constabulary and are awaiting further information.
