Stanley Morgan, Damion Willis capturing moment with A.J. Green and John Ross out

Stanley Morgan and Damion Willis are making the lives of Cincinnati Bengals decision-makers on cutdown day incredibly difficult.

Willis, in particular, was singled out by head coach Zac Taylor for having a big game against the Washington Redskins in the second week of the preseason.

But both undrafted wideouts have made big plays in the offense and showed some flashes on special teams. For Morgan, the offense missing guys like A.J. Green and John Ross stinks, but has opened the door.

“We all pushing each other,” Morgan said, according to The Athletic’s Paul Dehner Jr.. “Everyone in there making each other better … it’s unfortunate the leaders of the receiver room are out right now, but it’s helping us to learn plays and grasp the plays and have more reps.”

At this point, that door figures to remain open. Green might miss time into the regular season and Ross has been “day to day” for a week or so as the coaching staff takes it easy on him. He’s potentially due back Monday, but it’s hard to project.

With the way Willis and Morgan keep playing while guys like Cody Core and Josh Malone have quiet preseasons, they might force their way onto the roster by preseason’s end.
