Stanley Johnson 'didn't understand' Coleen Rooney row but sent text 'rooting' for Rebekah Vardy

Stanley Johnson has revealed he reached out to Rebekah Vardy following her row with Coleen Rooney.

Speaking on Loose Women the father of Boris Johnson said he whatsapped her following the allegations Coleen Rooney made about her.

Earlier this year Coleen Rooney said that someone using Rebekah Vardy's Instagram account had sold stories to the S*n about her.

Coleen planted several stories on her account and set it so that only Rebekah's account could see them, the same stories then went on to appear in the press.

Coleen's actions earned her the nickname "WAGatha Christie" and caused a media storm.

Rebekah vehemently denied the accusations and said she would prove her account had been hacked.

Stanley Johnson on Loose Women (ITV)

Speaking today on Loose Women Stanley said he reached out to his former I'm A Celeb campmate over whatsapp.

He said: "I messaged her saying I don't understand what this means, but I just want you to know we're rooting for you.

"I mean this lady is having a baby very soon and that will be very nice for her.

"She messaged back and said 'thank you for your lovely message it means a lot'"

Stanley also said every celeb from his series is in a whatsapp group called 'the bushtucker group'

He said he loved his time in the jungle and said: "You get to know these wonderful people that you would never normally meet, I loved my time in there."

*Loose Women continues at 12:30pm on ITV on Monday.
