Stanley Johnson blasts female I'm A Celeb campmates for crying over missing kids

Stanley Johnson has criticised female I'm A Celebrity campmates for "crying" over missing their children on the show.

Over the last few days, Kate Garraway and Jacqueline Jossa have found it difficult without their children.

When they brought up the subject, the former campmate, 79, remarked: "Women do seem to do this."

Panelist Stacey Solomon exclaimed: "Stanley! We miss them!"

Stanley continued: "I do say to myself, 'You signed up to go to the jungle for four or five weeks.'"

"But it doesn't stop you from getting emotional," Jane Moore pointed out. "You got emotional when your wife sent you a poem."

"I teared up for half a second," Stanley retorted.

Jane replied: "That's still emotion!"

"I suppose before you go you think, 'Yeah, I'll be alright and I've signed up and I'll do it.

"But it's only when you're there for a couple of weeks you think, 'Actually, this is really hard'," Stacey reasoned.

Stanley also spoke about the plaster he had on his cheek, which he told the panel was because he had a "funny mark" which needed to be cut out.
