Standard Liege vs Arsenal lineups: Starting lineups confirmed - Freddie Ljungberg goes 3-4-3

Freddie Ljungberg has made wholesale changes with a 3-4-3 formation for Arsenal's Europa League tie against Standard Liege.

Sokratis, David Luiz and Konstantinos Mavropanos start in a three-man defence, with Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Bukayo Saka at wing-back along with a midfield pairing of Joe Willock and Matteo Guendouzi.

Further forward, Alexandre Lacazette leads the attack with Emile Smith Rowe and Reiss Nelson in support.

Bernd Leno and Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang are the most experienced players on the bench, with Calum Chambers, Tyrecce John-Jules, Gabriel martinelli and James Olayinka substitutes along with young centre-back Zach Medley.

Ljungberg left ​Mesut Ozil and Sead Kolasinac back in London for a breather. Kieran Tierney has a dislocated shoulder and could be sidelined for up to three months while Nicolas Pepe has a knee problem and Granit Xhaka has concussion.
