Former Hibs midfielder Stephane Omeonga has singled out the Rangers player Standard Liege should try and exploit in the Europa League group stage clash between the teams.
Omeonga enjoyed two spells at Easter Road, and became a fan favourite in Leith.
The Belgian reckons Thursday's meeting between Rangers and Liege is a "50/50" match with both teams likely to fancy their chances.
However he feels Standard can get joy by "exploiting" Connor Goldson, and attempting to out-pace him by dropping balls in behind the Rangers defence.
Assessing Steven Gerrard's side, he said: "Rangers are a very good team and play with British characteristics. Their game is very physical and attacking.
"Up front, Alfred Morelos is their main goal threat and he is very strong. They also have Ryan Kent a winger who came from Liverpool and Ianis Hagi is an exciting prospect who used to play for Genk.
"At the back, they have Connor Goldson who is a very English-style defender. He has a big athletic presence, but he's not very fast. You can get balls behind the Rangers defence, it worries them. Standard have players who will be able to exploit them.
"With Standard's qualities, they should not be afraid of Rangers. For me it is 50/50."
Standard are set to be without three players after a number of positive COVID-19 tests within their squad.
Forward Michel-Ange Balikwisha, midfielder Nicolas Raskin and full back Moussa Sissako will be missing for the home side.
Damjan Pavlovic and Abdoul Tapsoba, roomates of Sissako, are also doubts as they await results of new test.
