Not only did they hope to win, but they all wanted to get a Paul Hollywood handshake which Matt eventually received - albeit as a joke.

The episode comes as we lost one famous face to cancer in the last week and since his passing, millions of tributes have been pouring in.

The Wanted's Tom Parker sadly passed away on Wednesday (March 30) having been diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma back in October 2020.

His wife Kelsey took to social media to share the devesting news. She wrote: "It is with the heaviest of hearts that we confirm Tom passed away peacefully earlier today with all of his family by his side. Our hearts are broken, Tom was the centre of our world and we can’t imagine life without his infectious smile and energetic presence.

"We are truly thankful for the outpouring of love and support and ask that we all unite to ensure Tom’s light continues to shine for his beautiful children. Thank you to everyone who has supported in his care throughout, he fought until the very end. I’m forever proud of you."

One story featured on tonight's episode was a women named Chloe who was sadly diagnosed with the same cancer as Tom.

Taking to Twitter to share their thoughts, viewers said they found the stories "emotional" and stressed it's why we need shows like this to raise awareness.

One said: "My heart breaks for the families who have to deal with the blow and trauma cancer causes. Getting told a loved one has cancer is one of the most traumatic pieces of news you’ll receive."

Another added: "Oh Lola (I feel sorry for the other girls) but my heart goes out to her as she's taking care of her little sisters and her mom."

A third tweeted: "It's so important to feature these stories. We need to raise money and awareness."
