Kroenke must avoid repeating five-year mistake
Arsenal fans have rarely hidden their frustration at Stan Kroenke’s approach to owning Arsenal.
It has now been revealed that Kroenke has not invested in Arsenal across the past five years. The news will come as no surprise to many Arsenal fans, with the club often feeling stifled under the American’s ownership.
Twitter account @SwissRamble, which has garnered a reputation for analysing the financial records of clubs, found that Premier League clubs have received a net figure of £1.9 billion in financing. Unfortunately, within that group, Arsenal received no investment from their owner, as shown here.

Arsenal to make announcement on cash injection
Arsenal are poised to announce the sale of Emiliano Martinez to Aston Villa.
The Argentine goalkeeper has only recently emerged into the starting XI and celebrated an FA Cup success recently. Bernd Leno remains the club’s first-choice goalkeeper, and that has seen Martinez search elsewhere for regular playing time.
As previously reported by football.london, the club were keen to extend his stay in North London and boost his wages considerably. Instead, he will now leave the club with Arsenal set to earn £20million.
