Stan Kroenke was thrilled with the business Arsenal got done in the summer transfer window.
This has been revealed by the club owner's son, Josh, who just so happens to the the director of the north London outfit.
Despite rumours of a £45m budget, the Gunners managed to bring in as many as six new players - including smashing their transfer record with the £72m addition of Nicolas Pepe from Lille.
Kieran Tierney, David Luiz, Gabriel Martinelli, William Saliba and Dani Ceballos were also recruited.
Those signings seem to have changed the atmosphere around the club following that Europa League final defeat by Chelsea in May, but what did Stan Kroenke make of the deals that got done?
Well, his son has revealed all.
"He is thrilled, Josh Kroenke told the BBC. "As we’ve had a chance to get to know some of the new faces more and more behind the scenes and he’s had a chance to be around them individually, he’s only excited.
"I know that term has probably been worn out this summer, especially from myself, but we’re all very excited.
"The hard part is staying patient and understanding that we’re putting plans in place that are going to unfold over the next several years.

"We’ve done it with our north American teams and we’re trying to implement those type of people and decision-makers here at Arsenal.
"I think this summer is a great example of the quality of people that we have."
At one point in the summer, there were rumours that Raul Sanllehi and Vinai Venkatesham were prepared to ask Stan Kroenke for extra transfer funds during the club's visit to the United States for their pre-season tour.
Despite an estimated wealth of around £7 billion, the American has not spent any money financing Arsenal over the past decade, but the Gunners chiefs were ready to ask him for extra funds to get a deal for Wilfried Zaha over the line.
In the end Arsenal ended up signing Zaha's international teammate Pepe.
