Calls are getting louder for Stan Kroenke to sell Arsenal.
On Friday ahead of kick-off against Everton at the Emirates Stadium, a number of Gunners supporters are planning to protest against the club's owner - although it is not known at this stage how many will be in attendance.
Furthermore, Arsenal legend Ian Wright has called for Kroenke to leave following their Super League exit announcement, tweeting the hashtag '#KroenkeOut' to make his feelings clear.
This has all reached boiling point over The European Super League proposal which the north London outfit were one of the 12 founding members before the idea collapsed.
But before and after Arsenal decided to withdraw from the proposed breakaway league, a large number of fans had made their feelings perfectly clear about Kroenke.
Judging by the reaction on social media, the popular plan of action would be for the American owner to put the club up for sale.
Although, that doesn't seem too likely based on Kroenke's previous comments about potentially cashing in on the 13-time champions of English football.
Back in 2017, Kroenke outlined his vision for Arsenal to the Mirror and it included winning trophies, not making money and certainly not selling the club.
"No, absolutely not," he said when asked about ever selling. "That’s just not our model, not what we do. I’m at a stage in life where what good does that do?
"I love Arsenal, love being involved with Arsenal. There is no finer feeling that going out and winning, like we did with the FA Cup.
"There’s no finer feeling — wonderful, wonderful feeling.
"Look, we want to be champions of everything. Premier League, Champions League – we want them all. When they list them on my phone, they list a third one, they list the FA Cup: Arsenal. Right there; that’s your list of champions.
"We shouldn’t sell that short. Do we want to win more? Absolutely. We want them. We have to do better but don’t sell short the FA Cup and Arsene’s record setting.
"His record of consistency through 20 years.
"We did fall out of the Champions League but with four more points than finishing second. It’s competitive and arguably more competitive."
So, barring a change of heart, it would appear that Arsenal fans won't be getting their wish of Kroenke leaving any time soon.
