The seasonal task “Perform Grabs on the Orb” in Skate 4 is rather straightforward. The task itself is simple: it requires you to bust out 50 grab tricks on the round plaza-like structure situated in Market Mile.
The only real hassle? There is no “O.R.B” location marked on the map, similar to the “Block Party” challenge. So, let’s dive in below as I walk you through the exact steps of locating the O.R.B. and completing the challenge without any obstacles in your way.
Where To Find The O.R.B
The O.R.B. is located in the Market Mile area of San Vansterdam. Since there is no official marking of the area, look for a large, circular structure east of the city council area. Look for a large circular orb with ramps spiraling down around it. The ramps are mostly orange and are quite easy to spot. You can get there even if the Market Mile neighborhood hasn’t been unlocked yet.
Performing Grabs At The Orb
To complete this seasonal task, you need to land a total of 50 grabs anywhere on the O.R.B. circular structure. Any standard grab counts towards the challenge, with the pacing all yours to set.
The reward for this challenge is 415 Tix, which you can use toward cosmetics and seasonal progression.
First, make your way up to the top of the orb and set a session marker. Next, choose a good song from the Skate library, so you can enjoy completing the challenge. Then, just start pushing down the ramp and perform grab tricks. There are gaps in the ramp you can ollie over. You can perform grab tricks across these gaps, or just launch yourself off the side of the ramp to get more air time. There are so many fun grab tricks to choose from, like Christ Air, Benihana, or Judo Air, among others.
When you have reached the end of the spiral, just powerslide to end the line with style and return to your Session Marker by pressing Up on the D-Pad.
