Stained glass window of Lewis Capaldi goes on display at Edinburgh Festival Fringe

If you've missed out on seeing Lewis Capaldi perform this year, then fear not, you can now see the rising star in a different way.

The viral shot of the Scottish singer in sunglasses with his hair wrapped in a towel has been portrayed in a stained glass window, showcased at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.

There's only a few days left to the world's largest arts festival in Scotland, so this Summer Bank Holiday is your last chance to see the artist portrait in all its glory.

The iconic image, which the 22-year-old singer posted to his Twitter account, is part of the £ScottishTwitter visitor centre, which opened its doors today.

As a salute to the globally loved #ScottishTwitter conversations, they've opened the immersive exhibition that will see displays of tweets reimagined as oil paintings and cross-stitch - bringing social media to life.

Dara Nasr, managing director at Twitter UK, said: "There were genuine LOLs in the office as we delved into the £ScottishTwitter conversations.

"We're so proud to open the visitor centre as a celebration of the insightful, frank and even philosophical humour of £ScottishTwitter."

Lewis published his comical selfie in celebration of his single staying at number one in the UK charts for the sixth week in a row, back in April of this year.

It read: "UK NUMBER ONE SINGLE FOR THE SIXTH WEEK with this news I am the first man named Lewis capaldi to ever have a number one single for six consecutive weeks in the uk, what an achievement! X"

If you're a fan of Scottish lingo, there's also a gift shop on-site offering merchandise; including tote bags featuring popular tweets such as one from @Nicolebairdd-X, which states "Canny believe how expensive being alive is".

The centre can be found at 21 Blackfriars Street, and is open from 10am to 8pm until Sunday, August 25.
