Stagecoach van goes up in flames in Scottish street as video shows fire break out

Video footage shows a Stagecoach van going up in flames in the middle of a Fife street.

Fire crews were called to the scene, on Dunfermline's Carnegie Drive, after the vehicle caught fire on Friday evening. There are not thought to have been any injuries.

Stagecoach confirmed shortly after 8pm that their services were being diverted away from the area, and on to the nearby Arthur Street instead.

A video posted to the Fife Jammer Locations Facebook page shows part of the vehicle burned out and thick black smoke pouring out as the fire continues to rage.

The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service has been contacted for more information.
