3. Melania speech snafu snowballs

Trump staffer Meredith McIver said she wrote Melania Trump’s speech, including lines borrowed from Michelle Obama, and she offered to resign but Trump turned her down. Melania Trump did not accompany her husband to Cleveland Wednesday.

5. Carson brings the Lucifer

Retired surgeon Ben Carson stood by associating Hillary Clinton with Beelzebub. “You look at what she advocates – the killing of babies, the dissolution of the traditional family … those are pretty consistent, quite frankly,” he said.
