However senior staff at the Princes Parade -based company have posted messages on LinkedIn suggesting the firm was now in administration.

Gemma Bielby, head of operation at Pure Legal Limited, posted a message this morning which read: "Yesterday was a devastating day for us all as a team & family at Pure. I just want to thank everyone from the board, my staff, all my colleagues who made my time at Pure exceptional and I loved every minute."

The directors of a company choose to appoint an administrator when it is in debt and cannot repay the money. The administrators then take over the running of the company.

Tina Flanagan, group HR manager at the firm, posted a message on LinkedIn which read: "One of the best company's ( sic ) I have ever worked 'Pure Business Group' was forced into administration today and we were all made redundant. It was just awful to see so many people's lives turned upside down.

"It was an absolute pleasure to work for such amazing people and the Board worked night and day to save the business and for that I thank you all. I wish everyone well and hope you all secure work quickly as you deserve nothing but the very best."

It is understood that Novitas Loans, a provider of loans for legal proceedings, petitioned Pure Legal for bankruptcy last month.

The ECHO has approached Pure Legal and Novitas Loans for comment on this story.
