A thug has robbed a Lanarkshire petrol garage at knifepoint in an early morning attack, stealing cash and cigarettes.
Police have launched an appeal for witnesses after the terrifying attack which left a male staff member 'badly shaken'.
Around 3.15am, on Thursday, 14 October, the man entered a service station in Cumbernauld Road, near Hogganfield Loch.

It was here he threatened staff with a knife and demanded money. He made off with cash and a quantity of cigarettes.
The suspect is white, aged around 30-35 years old, between 5’ 5 and 5’8 inches in height, with a slim build.
He was wearing a dark grey Adidas hooded top, light grey jogging trousers, a black face mask with an orange logo on the left hand side, white Nike trainers and a dark coloured beanie hat with the North Face logo.
He was also wearing gloves and carrying a black rucksack.
Officers are checking CCTV images from the location and the surrounding area for any additional details.
Detective Sergeant Raymond Hunter said: “I am appealing to anyone who may have been in the area around the time of the incident. In particular, I would ask motorists with dash cam devices to check their footage is they may have captured images which could assist our investigation.”
