Staff at Tollerton school 'in awe' of touching gesture from parents

Staff at a primary school in Tollerton say they are "in awe" after parents organised a gesture to show them their appreciation.

Staff at Tollerton Primary School have been treated to coffee and doughnuts every Friday afternoon for free when the 200 Degrees Little Red Coffee Van visits the school.

This is because parents have organised and paid for the van to visit them weekly to treat them at the end of each week.

In addition to this, parents also gave each staff member a goody bag over lockdown.

A spokesperson for the school said: "All the staff at Tollerton Primary School were in awe of the kindness and generosity of parents and eagerly awaited their Friday afternoon treats of delicious 200 degrees coffee and a tasty Doughnotts doughnut!

"Staff at Tollerton just want to say how much they appreciated this recognition. To feel such kindness in times like these was a real gift."

The Little Red Coffee Van also regularly visits Four Bells at Woodborough, Manvers Arms at Cotgrave, Parish rooms at Tollerton, Junk Yark at Lady Bay, Royal Oak at Radcliffe on Trent and Holme Pierrepoint Hall.
