Staff at Nottinghamshire car firm getting £500 cost of living bonus

Staff at a Newark motor company are being offered a bonus of up to £500 each to help them get through the cost of living crisis. The CEO of Motorfinity, based in Newark, says that the bonus will not be enough to cover all rising bills but hopes it will make a difference.

Motorfinity is a company providing critical workers in the UK with discounts on a range of brand new cars available for outright purchase or to lease. Each of the 34 members of staff at the company are now being offered the cost of living bonus of up to £500, fully funded by the company and with payment due by the end of the month.

Daniel Briggs, the CEO of Motorfinity said: "We know that everyone is feeling the pinch at the minute with rising costs. It can be stressful and ultimately, we want to support our amazing staff in any way we can. While we appreciate that the bonus won't be enough to cover all the increases in costs that the nation is experiencing, we hope that it helps go towards reducing the impact of those additional costs to everyday life."
