Police say a man accused of murder lived at the same address as a man whose body was found at the Wingfield dump in Adelaide's north-west on Tuesday.

Officers were called to Integrated Waste Services in Wingfield yesterday afternoon, after the body of 52-year-old Anastasios Tzanavaras was found among green waste.

Police traced the waste back to a house in Laver Street, Hectorville, in Adelaide's east, using tracking information from Integrated Waste Services.

Chief Inspector Matt Nairn said the man charged with murder — 44-year-old Daniel Gordon Bremner — lived at the same address as Mr Tzanavaras.

Mr Bremner appeared in the Adelaide Magistrates Court this afternoon but made no application for bail and will be remanded in custody to face court again in June.

The court heard police still needed to carry out DNA testing and further crime scene analysis.

Police have said they are planning a further search at the dump.

Chief Inspector Nairn said it was not yet known how and when the victim died, as a post-mortem had not yet been conducted.

He said the incident was not random and there were no other suspects.
