Stacking up to the competition

Matryoshka stacking dolls decorated with images of soccer players are showcased at a Moscow souvenir shop ahead of the 2018 FIFA World Cup in Russia. Japan's Samurai Blue is among the teams featured on the wooden doll sets, with Shinji Kagawa portrayed on the largest, 12-centimeter-tall figure, followed by Keisuke Honda, Yuto Nagatomo, Shinji Okazaki and finally a 2-centimeter-tall Makoto Hasebe. Matryoshka dolls depicting the Argentine team are selling well, according to the shop.
