Stack Newcastle to host Stacks of Talent competition and is looking for contestants

It's a place that is quickly becoming a real hot spot for live music and Stack is about to launch its own talent competition with a great name.

And its not just musicians that Stacks of Talent is looking for. Singers, dancers, comedians and magicians are all invited to apply for the knock out stages which will be held every Sunday from the start of May on Stack's soon to be installed Main Stage, which will replace the Lonewolf Ice Bar at the end of its stint at the Pilgrim Street shipping container development.

Prizes up for grabs in Stacks of Talent include cash, a PR package, gigs at Stack and a recording session.

To enter interested performers need to send a video showcasing their act and organisers will then let them know if they have made it through to the live heats, which are set to run for at least four weeks.

The email address to send your application video to is info@stacknewcastle.com.

Stack is on the site of the former Odeon cinema in Newcastle city centre and at Christmas was home to popular festive pop up bar Hadrian's Tipi.
