Loose Women star Stacey Solomon 'spat her drink out' in shock when she got a special namecheck on Coronation Street.
Stacey was delighted to be mentioned by Corrie icon Gail Rodwell during Wednesday night's double bill.
Gail, played by Helen Worth, compared herself to the bubbly chat show panellist while visiting her daughter-in-law Shona Ramsey in hospital.
When her son David Platt accused her of being 'the voice of doom' over hopes of Shona recovering from her coma, Gail protested that she was in fact a very positive person.
"How?" asked David.
"Well if I was on the Loose Women panel I'd be Stacey Solomon," she told him.
"What's that mean?" he asked.
"Well she's always very perky," she explained.
The hilarious clip was played on Thursday afternoon's Loose Women , and a thrilled Stacey told her fellow panellists: "That was the highlight of my week. I spat my drink out."
"Gail is without doubt getting the best lines these days," said one viewer about the moment.
"She’s a truly brilliant character. Last week saying she loved the nurse’s shoes, this week if she was on Loose Women she’d be Stacey Solomon!"
