Stacey Solomon thanks fans for 'messages of support' after revealing unborn baby's gender

Stacey Solomon has thanked her fans for 'messages of support' after she revelled the gender of her unborn baby.

The Loose Women panellist announced on Instagram earlier this week that she and husband Joe Swash were expecting a second daughter.

The pair already have a toddler called Rose and three sons. Stacey told her 5.5M followers and fans on Friday afternoon that she was "still cooking" after rumours that she might have already given birth.

It was announced earlier this month she had also landed a new DIY show on Channel 4, called Hello Sunshine. In a video on the social media site today, she said: "Thank you for all your lovely messages about baby girl and the news show."

And went on to say: "I think because Rex and Rose were a little bit early I automatically just assumed she'd be here by now because you know, the more you have the more they sort of slip and slide out.

"Well that's what I thought anyway but it's not the case. She's very comfy and cosy in there and I'm quite enjoying it actually because I feel like this pregnancy has been shorter so it's nice to keep going and tie off all my loose ends and get ready a little bit as well which is lovely."

She's due her little girl next month and has taken to squatting to try and help the baby on her way. She shared a picture of her squatting as she drank a cup of tea in her kitchen at her Essex home Pickle Cottage.

Stacey wrote: "Happy Friday from me squatting at every opportunity just to try and let gravity do some of the work before labour kicks in. Did anyone else do this at the end? Or am I just a weirdo? Joe thinks it's hilarious."
