Stacey Solomon sobbing after saying she had 'a few' miscarriages in a year, before baby joy

Stacey Solomon has opened up on suffering 'a few' tragic miscarriages in a year before revealing her baby joy.

The Loose Women star announced the news on Wednesday evening that she was expecting "another pickle" with fiance Joe Swash.

But Stacey, who also has older sons Zach, 13, and Leighton, nine, as well as two-year-old Rex with Joe, admitted to feeling nervous about making her announcement trying for another child for a "really long time".

She broke the happy news by sharing a family photo including the baby scan on her Instagram.

The 31-year-old also shared a montage video to her Instagram story, writing: "Sorry I’ve been so quiet… But we have something we are excited to share with you… I feel so nervous for so many reasons."

She then posted a video of a negative pregnancy test and a form reading 'complete miscarriage' adding: "For a really long time we have been trying for another pickle… It didn’t work out and this was our news quite a few times…

"We decided we were so lucky already to have our boys.

"It is our biggest privilege in life and we are so grateful to be parents so we stopped trying and counted ourselves so so so blessed already…"

She eventually went on to share an intimate look at the moment she went for a scan and the couple were "so grateful to hear an extra heartbeat in my tummy," she said.

Now, after being inundated with messages from fans, Stacey has opened up further about her heartbreaking losses.

In an Instagram Q&A, a fan wrote: "Thank you for sharing about your previous loses. I've been through it too and you're giving me hope."

Stacey said in response: "So many of you messaging this.. It's so comforting in one way because knowing so many people have had similar experiences somehow makes you feel less alone...

"But it's also sad because, you know that nothing you say or do will take away from how exhausting and heartbreaking those experiences are.

"Thinking of you all and I'm feeling so so grateful."

She then went on to explain: "We've experienced it a few times in the last year and a bit and it's such a sinking feeling. (a year isn't a long time when I read so many others experiences).

"So many of you have been trying for years and years. Keep going if you can and you want to.

"But honestly it's heartbreaking. Love you all to the moon and back."

Stacey admitted to "sobbing" after revealing the news to her millions of followers.
