Stacey Solomon shuts down trolls telling her to be 'ashamed' of 'filthy' clothes

Stacey Solomon refuses to let online trolls get her down.

The 30 year old, who recently took a break from social media over cruel comments, laughed as she recalled being told she should be "ashamed" of baby Rex's "filthy" clothes.

Last week, she revealed she would be taking some time away from social media after being left "shocked" at the cruelty of digital bullies.

Now, ever positive Stacey offered a message of support to any parents who feel down or who have started to doubt their parenting abilties.

The Loose Women star plugged CG Baby Club, and their campaign Love Don't Judge.

Stacey explained in an Instagram video: "CG Baby Club are running a campaign called Love Don't Judge.

"I wanted to share it and get behind because I feel like we get judged all the time as parents.

"Only yesterday someone was telling me how filthy Rex's clothes are, and I that I should be ashamed."

She added: "I laugh but sometimes it can make you feel really alone and like you're doing a rubbish job, so basically [CG Baby Club] are encouraging people to share their judgements and their stories so that they don't feel alone, and realise that we're all in this together and we've got each other's backs."

Stacey also shared a message she'd received from a concerned mum, telling: "I get lots of messages like this, and don't be so hard on yourself, honestly.

"If it makes you feel any better Rex has eaten his own poo before."

Stacey captioned her videos: "You're doing amazing!"

She shares little Rex - who recently celebrated his first birthday in lockdown - with partner Joe Swash.

Stacey also has Zachary, 11, and Leighton, seven, while Joe has Harry, 12.

The pair are already firm fan favourites (Channel 4)

They welcomed Rex last year, with the tot marking his first birthday by getting up and walking for the first time.

The showbiz supercouple have united on our screens for their stint on Celebrity Gogglebox, joining the likes of Eamonn Holmes and Ruth Langsford, Rylan Clark-Neal and his mum Linda, and Laura Whitmore and Iain Stirling.

Fans briefly speculated that Stacey might be pregnant after Joe snapped her kipping with her hand on her belly.

She hasn't ruled out baby number two with Joe, saying she'd definitely be up for another if they turned out like Rex.

And now that lockdown measures have been eased, Stacey's been able to reunite with close mate and cleaning guru Mrs Hinch as they enjoyed a girls' night in.
