Stacey Solomon shares cheap and easy DIY hack that transformed her conservatory

Stacey Solomon, who has been keeping her 4.4 million followers updated on Instagram with her DYI home projects, has shared how she transformed her conservatory into a “Palma violet” dream.

The 31-year-old Loose Women star has dedicated several Instagram posts and stories to the refurbishment of her Essex mansion.

The mother-of-three moved into the £1.2 million Tudor-style property alongside her fiancé, Joe Swash, earlier this year.

She has since shown her fans how to repaint and redecorate anything, from a simple toilet room to a Wendy house, by themselves.

In her most recent “Pickle Cottage” renovation update, Stacey made pretty impressive work on her beautiful conservatory.

The former X-Factor contender filmed how she first painted her conservatory’s walls in a lavender tone, before painting pine cladding planks in white.

She then slotted the wooden boards together and stuck them to the wall.

The handywoman wrote on Instagram - after revealing the tasteful before and after photos of the room - that she had yet to add on another pain coat.

Stacey added: “Then use some filler to neaten all the edges that look rubbish right now. Then I have shelves to add and chairs."

Stacey has regularly made sure to share valuable DYI tips with her followers, as she gave the details to some items she had purchased to work on her latest home project.

She revealed that the pine cladding and the gorgeous purple paint both came from Wickes.

The ITV panellist went on to tell the price of Wickes’ “softwood timber traditional cladding”, which added up to £12.50 for a five-pack.

At the beginning of the month, Stacey showed the remarkable work she had done on her youngest son’s, Rex, bedroom.

In a series of photos on Instagram, Rex was seen smiling while sitting on his panda-themed bed.

The cute black and white bear appeared to be the little boy’s chosen motif, as hints of the animal were discreetly placed across the space.

Following the hefty job she overtook today, Stacey concluded her Insta-story with a picture of Rex, sitting on the staircase next to her two dogs.
