Stacey Solomon says 'thought I'd share' after being seen beaming in crop top in hotel toilet

Stacey Solomon has told fans that she 'thought she'd share' after being seen in a hotel toilet after leaving home to head to Scotland for a third time in a week. The Loose Women star is currently recording an episode of her BBC One show Sort Your Life Out across the country.

Earlier this week Stacey shared how she felt 'emotional' as she made her second trip back to her Essex home in a matter of days after flying up to Scotland last weekend. It comes after the 33-year-old explained that she had planned other work commitments closer to home, not knowing she'd be filming the other side of the UK at the same time.

She is now away from home until Sunday (July 9) and shared how it is the longest stint she's ever had away from her three youngest children - Rex, four, one-year-old Rose, and Belle, five months.

But the mum-of-five has since offered an update and as she arrived in Scotland and got comfortable, she decided to try out new social media site Threads. The Meta app, from the company behind Facebook and Instagram, has a text-style format which encourages users to post updates and join public discourse, similar to Twitter.

Deciding to sign up, Stacey posted a picture of herself smiling widely into the mirror as she sported a blue sports bra and what appeared to be matching leggings. "Alone in a hotel room in Scotland so thought I'd join this thing," she typed alongside the snap.

"Didn't know what to post so here's me looking as tired as I feel, in a hotel toilet. It's giving is she actively on the toilet vibes. Why am I straining so hard to smile? Oh well might as well start as I meant to go on..." she added. Stacey then shared the post to her Instagram Story and said: "When you're alone in Scotland so you jump on the bandwagon."

She then returned to the new platform on Friday (July 7) as she shared a sweet quote to get the day off to a more positive start. "Good morning... Thought I'd share one of my favourites this morning. 'Be who you are and say what you feel, because those who mind don't matter and those who matter don't mind'. - Dr Seuss. Love ys. Happy Friday!"

And she was soon flooded with messages from her fans wishing her to have a nice day while also sharing their love and praise for her choice of quote.

Stacey's latest dash back up to Scotland comes after she admitted to being 'shell shocked' after heading to the job she flew back to England especially for. Speaking to the camera, the former X Factor star Stacey said in a video on her Instagram Story: "I am just on my way back from work and I feel shell shocked, to be honest. I wasn't expecting it to be what it was.

"When my agent first told me what it was, I was asked whether I used a product and whether I'd do an advert for it. I said yeah, that would be amazing. I had a meeting with the company - they asked me where I use it.

"I said, I usually just use it on the toilet. When I am alone and can have a little bit of me time. They said 'great'. We will just film you like that - really natural, however, you do it. So I thought I'd go to somebody's house and film it and give them the content and that would be that. But how wrong I was."
