Stacey Solomon has updated her followers after her two-year-old son Rex was rushed to hospital on the weekend.
The Loose Women star and her fiance Joe Swash explained on Instagram that the toddler had fallen over and "hurt his little lip" which required medical attention.
Stacey, who recently announced she was pregnant with her fourth child, told her 4.5 million Instagram followers on Monday: "We had a nightmare yesterday. Rex fell over in the garden and we were like 'up you get' and then we looked and it was not an up you get situation.
"He hurt his lip so we took him into A&E and he had some little butterfly strips put on.
"I'm going to go back today and get some proper stitches because it's in a really awkward place," she added.
Stacey revealed that Rex was "so good" and "didn't make a sound" other than to talk to the "lovely doctor asking him to fix it".
"Joe on the other hand was a mess bless him," Stacey laughed, explaining that her husband-to-be had to leave the treatment room.
Interjecting, Joe added: "Honestly, when the kids are hurt I panic."
Agreeing, Stacey explained: "Joe just does not do well when the boys fall over. I'll be looking after Joe today probably more than Rex."
Stacey finished her update by telling her followers Rex was okay and his usual "smiley" self.
She said: "We are off this morning to get some proper stitches as the butterfly ones won't hold in the awkward place. But luckily everything is absolutely fine.
"Rex is okay and smiley as ever this morning. I'm nervous for today but I know he will be a little star and I will be there the whole time and we will send daddy off to get supplies."
Stacey and Joe, who got engaged on Christmas Eve 2020, recently announced they were expecting their second child together after "trying for a really long time". You can see their pregnancy announcement in full here.
