Stacey Solomon was giddy with excitement after discovering beautiful wooden floorboards under the grimy carpet in her son Rex's bedroom.
The Loose Women panellist has been on a DIY journey as she creatively refurbishes her and her fiancé Joe Swash 's new home.
On Monday, while little Rex was taking a nap, Joe and the 31-year-old took to his room to remove the raggedy old carpet only to discover the floorboards.
"Rex is having a little nap so we took the carpet up in Rex's room so I could get into the skirting and there's lovely wood underneath," she captioned a clip of Joe, 39, rolling up the carpet.
"I think I'll try to sand and stain it and keep it. What do you think?"
She later shared a clip of what it looked like before while Joe was forced out the house to "pick up a rental sander."
"Omg this really just blew my mind," she continued. "It's made my day. I have sent Joe to pick up a rental sander he's fuming. But my excitement over finding floorboards is not normal..."
Her next story saw her immediately in full sanding gear as she got to work to transform the old room.
She proceeded to sand the floor but had to use her sons' Playstation headset as she didn't have noise-cancelling headphones.
"Checked for sticking out nails etc. before we started," she captioned a clip of her sanding.
"Banged them in or pulled them out and I can't believe how quick she is... Sandy, I love you thank you for tonight it was so special. I'll never forget it."
Stacey told fans that she decided that the theme of Rex's room will be black, white and grey and feature cute animal details and star-shaped light fittings.
She had revealed that most of the things for his room was bought from online retailer Amazon.
Before putting all her focus on Rex's room, Stacey had been working on the downstairs bathroom.
There's still a long way to go, but fans have been loving every moment of the transformation journey.
