Stacey Solomon revealed Joe Swash really struggles with his grief following the death of his father - and she regrets giving him a picture where someone had drawn his dad with son Rex.
Former EastEnder Joe lost cherished Ricky from an undiagnosed condition when he was only 11-years-old.
She thought the gift would mean everything to her boyfriend but she accepts she made a big mistake.
Stacey appeared alongside Nadia Sawalha, Jane Moore and Kaye Adams on the Loose Women panel.
They discussed rapper Kanye West giving Kim Kardashian a hologram featuring her late father for her birthday.
The conversation soon turned to whether the four of them would ever give such an item to their partners.
She said: "For Joe's birthday last year, I gave him a picture where someone had drawn in his dad with Rex because obviously he lost his dad at such a young age.
"But Joe hates it. He can't look at it at all. He found it really difficult. He just locks grief away.
"It was my own ignorance really because I hadn't actually asked how he would feel about it."
The former X Factor star added: "Whenever something big in his life happens, like when Rex was born, he really struggles.
"I tell him that we should have photos of his dad around the house, but he doesn’t want them."
Joe himself says he struggles and opened up about his torment.
"I miss my dad every day," he said. "There's so much I'd love to show him.
"There are so many things I've done and experienced that I could have shared with him."
