Stacey Solomon's amazing transformation of secret room next to Pickle Cottage’s pool

Stacey Solomon has shared her amazing transformation of the secret room next to her swimming pool at Pickle Cottage.

The 32-year-old Loose Women presenter snapped up the £1.2 million mansion, located in the sprawling Essex countryside, with fiancé Joe Swash in March last year, and since then, she’s been sharing her epic renovations with her followers.

Stacey shares the luxury mansion with former EastEnders star Joe, her children Zachary and Leighton, and the two children she shares with the I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! Winner, Rex and Rose.

She stunned her followers on Monday as she revealed the simple transformation she gave to a secret room that was located next to her refurbished swimming pool, and cracked on with the painting once her kids were at school.

“The next project at Pickle Cottage is this. This is like a little kitchen thingy next to the plant room [next to the pool],” she wrote on her Instagram Stories.

“They must have used it as a kitchen by the pool but none of this stuff works anymore and I feel like I could store all the pool’s stuff here, like all the nets, so I'm going to try and jazz it up,” Stacey added.

The former X Factor star then took her fans through the “three stages of painting”, and joked that she was questioning her life choices halfway through the mammoth paint job.

“Coat one: when you question your whole life and think how is this ever going to work. Coat two: it's actually covering. Coat three: hallelujah,” she quipped.

I think it would be a great space for all things pool (floats/towels/maintenance etc) so I'm going to try and make it better,” she said, as she got to work with the DIY project.

The presenter revealed the results of her busy afternoon, as the room was freshened up after Stacey painted the cupboards in a sage green colour, and managed to make the space look brand new.

“Honestly it never ceases to amaze me what paint can do…” she said, as she explained the hob in the kitchen doesn’t work, but she didn’t want to undertake another big job by ripping it out.
